2023 THEME: Amplifying Voices
Every year, #StopTheDeaths highlights the issue of drug-related deaths in Scotland.
These drug-related deaths are not inevitable – we can prevent drug deaths.
#StopTheDeaths encourages us to take action, to show support, to make our voice heard, we can all play a part in preventing drug deaths.
For 2023 #StopTheDeaths will ensure that Scotland can hear the voices of people who are often marginalised within discussion around drug-related deaths:
People with living experience of drug problems
Women experiencing drug problems
Families and carers of people at risk
Frontline workers supporting people at risk
If your voice is too often unheard or drowned out, #StopTheDeaths 2023 can amplify your voice so everyone can learn from your insight, your perspective, your experience.
